The Tuning Hitz Concept The Tuning Hitz Concept was invented in 2007. The series now consists of 12 albums. The normal series is from 1 to 9 (and with an expected new release in the 1st September of Tuning Hitz 10). Besides that, 3 special editions have been made. Normally each year we film from the Nordic Tuner Awards at Copenhagen in 2008 and again then in Helsinki in 2009 a special edition of Tuning Hitz was made last summer called "Girls go Fast". In total: 12 albums. The Tuning Hitz Concept is made out from the interest of Music, Tuned Cars and Extreme Car hi-fi's. As a consequence of that, the target group is people who like dance music, pop, trance, techno and house. The Cds are mastered with the highest possible output with focus on the Bass. The goal is to give the fans a massive experience. Therefore the slogan of the Tuning Hitz series is "Bass in your face". The musical content on Tuning Hitz consist of the most successful dance, pop, trance - artists on the market and in many cases dance floor hits, but also very extreme and special material which gives the hi-fi equipment a special boost - all this finds its way into the Tuning Hitz compilation. Many of the Tuning Hitz editions have been filled with test tones, and tools for balancing and leveling you Hi-Fi equipment. Cooperation partners Our prime cooperation partners are for sure the car owners throughout the Nordic region: either hobby based or professional manufactures of cars. Many are supplying us with material and lately we have had Zpirit on Tuning Hitz 9 - Lukas Koos´s latest creation: the Zpirit, which is right now being heavily awarded throughout the Nordic region with for instance the "Best In Show" at the Elmia Fair In April 2010 in Sweden. Besides all the enthusiastic car owners who supply us with photos and front cover features we have of course a great deal of help from people organizing the tuning events and regular partners in our cooperation is X-treme in Finland, Street Cars Norway, Street Fire in Denmark, Street Car Fest in Sweden, WestCoast in Sweden, were the Tuning Hitz film crew will be present all around this summer 2010! The TMC film crew will also follow the POWERDRIFTING & STREET CARS NORWAY FROYA EXHIBITION at Trondheim, Froya (June 26th) and many more is on the schedule. TH 9 was released end of April and is available on most of the record stores in the Nordic region as well as gas-stations, type of outlets. TH download All 12 editions of TH can be downloaded at most of all official downloads platforms such as iTunes, CDON.com, Telia.com, Telenor.com, Platecompaniet.no, tele2.com, tdc.com, etc. A download version of a TH compilation can be purchased for around half price of the normal shop price for a physical version of TH. Since the TH masters are specially edited and mastered many music fans and Djs all over the Nordic region - no matter if they have a interest in cars and tuning - buys downloads from TH due to the fact they are getting something extra on the TH version of a song, namely a lot of BASS IN YOUR FACE. Visuals The visual side of The Tuning Hitz Concept is a mixture of many sources. First of all the car fairs around Scandinavian and the Baltics are getting visited by our film crew, also suppliers in form of Tuning and car Hi-Fi fans, are sending us suggestions. The Tuning Hitz DVDs Normally the DVD follows the Tuning Hitz package, also contain of selected music videos as a bonus for the car hi-fi user who nowadays have a dvd player & monitor in their cars. Each Tuning Hitz dvd therefore contains about 1,5 hour of music and in many cases over 2 hours of visual content. A full package of the Tuning Hitz compilation is a CD and a DVD with about 4h of entertainment! The Tuning Hitz is the most successful concept (in its genre) aiming to the tuning and pop dance market in the Nordic region. Its editions sell between 10,000 and 20,000 copies. The best selling Tuning Hitz came way over 20,000 and one of the special editions unfortunately only sold 4,000 copies. All and all the 12 editions of Tuning Hitz have in total sold more than 190,000 units. Lately the Tuning Hitz Concept has gone into the normal retail record stores, gas stations, etc and a result of a wide distribution Tuning Hitz is normally appearing on the sales charts. Recently the special edition of Tuning Hitz 2010 was 10 weeks on the official Norwegian sales charts for compilations and 6 weeks on the Swedish. Tuning Hitz is on the market in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The people behind Tuning Hitz The music for the TH concept is supplied by the record company TMC Ent. GARY FLOMFED
The latest 5 TH albums have been compiled, mixed, selected by Gary Flomfed. And as you can already understand this guy is a sucker for bass. The selection criteria is current dance or trance hits, songs and works which stimulates heavy bass, special effects and this all put together in order to blow your stereo! Gary Flomfed is 39 years old, former dj, musician and engineer and some would say he got the most awful taste of music you can imagine. Besides that he leaves his personal taste out of the picture when he is compiling a TH record. The task of compiling songs - bass driven, special remixes which makes the asphalt crack under your car. The mastering phase
ENDOO When the music is selected a great deal of engineering is necessary in order for you to be able to grasp and obtain all the heavy sounds, a young engineer called Endoo (who is a former trance Dj and dance producer) level all the music and make sure that all the sharp edges are rounded off and that you get the full force of the music, the bass, the treble - so you have a soundtrack for blowing of the pants on your friends and everybody else. Endoo does his work out from his own recording studio which is special geared for this kind of operations. When he receives a master from Gary Flomfed the first process is all the sounds are going through an equalizing phase, cleaned up from noises and the special areas for your bass are being emphasized. All songs are being set into level. Some of the TH sleeves have said "30% more bass" that label is maybe a little bit false. But if you compare the song from a TH compilation with an original recording which is normally aiming mostly to radio and regular outputs you will experience at least more than 30% more bass, since the Tuning Hitz songs are mastered to the limit.
